We all need help from time to time. Whether it is in the form of education or getting our basic needs met, knowing where to go for assistance is crucial. There are many ways to find resources. Asking someone you know, a friend or a family member, is always a great place to start. Support groups, a living Google if you may, usually have many people that know about what your local community has to offer. Since some resources are fleeting or time-sensitive, word of mouth is sometimes the best way to find current and up-to-date information. Once you know what to look for it is usually easy to locate their contact information and/or website. In an attempt to save you some steps, we have compiled a list of local/Michigan and national resources In no way do we believe it to be complete which is where we need your help. If you know of a great area or national resource that has impacted your life or should be more widely utilized or known, please consider sharing it by sending an e-mail to peersupport@ewashtenaw.org
