Muddy soccer ball

Whether you call it ‘futbol’ or soccer, the energy and passion of a good game is incredible. From assists to headers to that goal-saving move, the comradery of this team sport extends beyond nationalities, race, and sometimes even housing status. The Project Outreach Team (PORT) hosts a soccer team for the homeless which provides players from CSTS and PORT with the opportunity to connect with others, engage in healthy exercise, build important life skills, get connected with needed resources and services, as well as just have fun! SS PORT meets weekly and everyone is welcome, regardless of their homeless status. For more information, call Linda Bacigalupi (734) 222-3768 or Sara Silvennoinen (734) 368-6786.
